Job summary

Greystar, a leading global real estate platform, seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain the community’s buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete make-ready tasks for new move-ins while following established policies, safety standards, and code requirements.

You will also monitor inventory, support vendors, and assist with budget planning to ensure cost-effective upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience and training.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• Incumbents must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose defects, and complete repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Oversee and complete the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, interiors, and common areas.
• Periodically inspect work by staff and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and assist with budgeting and cost control.
