Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, and amenities meet the company’s cleanliness, safety, and functional standards.

You will handle work orders, diagnose issues, and complete preventive maintenance while upholding Greystar quality across the community. The role requires tools, reliability, and strong customer service to support residents and operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience. (≤140 chars)
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools and safe use knowledge.
• Strong reading, writing, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs and property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant units and inspections.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds and common areas.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Assist in budget development for repairs and capital projects.
