Greystar seeks a skilled maintenance technician to ensure the community's buildings, grounds and common areas meet Greystar standards of cleanliness, safety and functionality. You will diagnose resident requests, perform repairs, and support the make-ready process for new move-ins with coordination of vendors.

You will help develop maintenance standards, inspect work for quality, manage parts inventory, and assist in budgeting for regular repairs and capital projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade preferred.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and read manuals.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively for shift operations and docs.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose defects from resident service requests and perform repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and scheduling.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, units, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and policy compliance.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and assist budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Contribute to safety meetings and ensure OSHA and MSDS compliance.
