Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform mechanical work keeping interiors, exteriors, and common areas up to Greystar standards. You will diagnose defects, complete resident-requested repairs, and manage make-ready tasks for vacant units.

The role requires experience in property maintenance, tool proficiency, and strong customer service skills to engage residents and team members effectively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and be skilled in safe use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to support management and interact with residents.
• Proficiency in basic computer apps and record-keeping; property management system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in buildings, grounds, and common areas.
• Oversee make-ready processes for vacant units, inspections, and scheduling vendors.
• Establish cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, interiors, and amenities to meet Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work and contractors to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and assist with budget adherence.
