Job summary

Serco invites applications for a Project Management role in Middletown, Rhode Island, supporting Navy PORTS efforts. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure DoD-compliant data delivery and quality metrics.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, a relevant bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of management experience, and proficiency with MS Office and MS Project. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Familiar with software development projects.
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and act as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review project status and budgets; review work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
