Job summary

Serco Inc. in Middletown, Rhode Island, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead PORTS program efforts supporting Navy training systems.

You will coordinate between the Program Manager, customer, and project team, ensuring schedules, budgets, and deliverables meet DoD requirements. The role requires a US citizenship with ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and at least 5 years of management experience including P&L.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management
• Minimum 5 years of management experience including profit and loss
• Familiar with software development projects
• Travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaise between Program Manager, Customer, and project team
• Review project statuses and budgets; review work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects
