Job summary

Serco is seeking a Project Manager to support the Navy PORTS program in Middletown, RI. You will lead project teams, coordinate with customers and management, and ensure schedules, budgets, and quality objectives are met. The role requires DoD clearance eligibility and strong program management skills.

The position involves travel up to 10% and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Prior experience with software development projects and MS Project is preferred.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required; ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience including profit & loss.
• Familiarity with software development projects.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products including MS Project.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review project status, budgets, schedules; prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items per DoD requirements and adhere to quality objectives, metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
