Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking a Project Engineer to provide technical leadership on multi-disciplinary design projects in Geismar, LA. You will support the Project Manager to manage cost, schedule, and client satisfaction while promoting a strong safety culture throughout the process design work.

The role calls for a Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, plus 5+ years of relevant experience and professional registration (PE or PMP preferred).

Competenze

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.
• Basic knowledge of chemical/biochemical process engineering and process computer programs.

Mansioni

• Provide technical leadership of a project and support the Project Manager in managing performance, cost, schedule, and client satisfaction.
• Promote safety culture and apply safety concepts into process design.
• Establish design criteria, client requirements, and design basis meeting standards and codes.
• Produce estimate level preliminary designs and material take-offs.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
• Produce detailed design calculations and drawings and ensure accuracy and conformance to codes.
