Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors seeks an engineering leader to drive technical execution on complex projects in Louisiana. You will support the Project Manager, ensure client satisfaction, and manage budgets/schedules while coordinating with design teams across disciplines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, PE preferred, and 3+ years in engineering and project management. This on-site position emphasizes teamwork and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineer registration and PMP preferred.
• 3+ years of engineering and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership of a project and support the Project Manager in cost, schedule, and client satisfaction.
• Inform the PM of all technical issues, decisions, and problems encountered on the project.
• Coordinate with Client on technical design issues and with PM, Construction Manager, Procurement Manager, Quality Manager, and Project Controls Lead on execution and scope changes.
• Assist in managing engineering budgets and schedules and document scope changes.
• Prepare weekly and monthly engineering status reports and issues.
• Forecast engineering resources with Discipline Leads and track man-hours, TIC quantities, and scope changes.
• Develop or facilitate project-specific engineering/design procedures and obtain approvals as needed.
• Coordinate engineering input for Scope & Criteria documents and Engineering Execution Plans.
• Ensure timely completion of multi-discipline deliverables and lead inter-discipline coordination.
