Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to provide technical leadership and support the Project Manager in achieving cost, schedule, and client satisfaction targets. This role operates with minimal supervision on complex engineering projects.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in engineering and project management, PE and/or PMP preferred, and strong abilities in cross-discipline coordination, client relations, and delivering on commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering (PE) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.
• Knowledge of Hargrove project execution procedures.
• Ability to lead a team to deliver on commitments.
• Strong written and verbal communication; client relationship skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project coordination tools.

Responsibilities

• Informing the Project Manager of all technical issues, decisions, and problems encountered on project.
• Coordinating with Client on technical design issues.
• Coordinating with PM, Construction Manager, Procurement Manager, Quality Manager, and Project Controls Lead on execution issues.
• Supporting PM in managing engineering budgets and schedules and changes in scope; weekly/monthly reporting; resource planning.
• Discipline awareness of man-hours and TIC quantities; track changes as project progresses.
• Developing or facilitating project-specific engineering/design procedures with required approvals.
• Coordinating engineering input for scope documents (Scope & Criteria, EEP, etc.).
• Ensuring timely completion of multi-Discipline deliverables (Line List, Equipment List, ACD Drawings, P&IDs etc.).
• Leading Inter-Discipline coordination to resolve design issues.
• For 3D modeling projects, review model for coordination, clash detection, and deliverables.
• Ensuring overall quality control of engineering work.
