Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Pasadena, TX seeks a Project Engineer to provide technical leadership and assist the Project Manager in guiding the engineering team to meet cost, schedule, and client expectations. The role focuses on coordination across disciplines, scope changes, and ensuring quality control of engineering work. The ideal candidate holds a B.S.

or M.S. in Engineering with 5+ years of experience and a PE (preferred) or PMP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Engineering.
• Requires 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.
• Professional Engineering registration and PMP certification are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inform PM of all technical issues and decisions encountered.
• Coordinate with Client on technical design issues.
• Coordinate with PM, Construction Manager, Procurement Manager, Quality Manager and Controls Lead on execution issues.
• Support PM in managing budgets, schedules and scope changes, and report on status.
• Lead inter-discipline coordination and ensure timely multi-discipline deliverables.
• Maintain overall quality control of engineering work.
