Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in California seeks a project engineer to provide technical leadership and support the Project Manager in managing cost, schedule and client satisfaction. The role requires coordinating with clients and internal teams to deliver multi-discipline design deliverables.

The ideal candidate holds a BS/MS in engineering with 5+ years in engineering and project management, PE or PMP preferred, and strong communication and mentoring abilities to guide a high-performing

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on projects and support PM in cost, schedule, and client satisfaction.
• Inform PM of all technical issues, decisions and problems encountered on project.
• Coordinate with clients on technical design issues and with PM and discipline leads on execution issues.
• Lead inter-discipline coordination and ensure timely completion of multi-discipline deliverables.
• Review and approve design transmittals and ensure overall quality of engineering work.
