Job summary

bioMérieux in Apex, NC is seeking a Production Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team focused on maintaining manufacturing equipment and facilities infrastructure. You will oversee maintenance workflows, lead preventive and corrective maintenance, and manage outside contractors to optimize uptime.

The role emphasizes 70% hands-on maintenance in production and 30% office administration, ensuring safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Mechatronics or a related field; 4+ years leading teams with automated systems.
• Or, in lieu of degree, 8+ years of experience leading maintenance on highly automated electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technicians and oversee daily operations for efficient workflow.
• Perform advanced maintenance and troubleshooting on complex systems.
• Implement maintenance strategy and oversee PM/CMMS workflow.
• Ensure safety and quality standards across all maintenance activities.
• Contribute to budget forecasts and cost control in maintenance.
• Coordinate projects including new equipment installations and tooling.
• Provide training and develop team capabilities.
• Plan and track work using CMMS to meet production schedules.
