bioMérieux in North Carolina seeks a Production Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for preventive, corrective, and urgent maintenance in a highly automated facility.

The role blends hands-on maintenance in production (70%) with office tasks (30%), overseeing CMMS workflows, maintenance planning, and coordination with internal teams and outside contractors to minimize downtime and improve reliability and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Mechatronics or related field and 4+ years of experience, working with highly automated electrical and mechanical systems, including demonstrated ability to lead others.
• Or in lieu of degree, 8+ years of experience working with highly automated electrical and mechanical systems, including demonstrated ability to lead others.
• Preferred 8 years of experience working with production equipment and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technicians and oversee daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Conduct advanced maintenance and troubleshooting on complex systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Implement and ensure execution of the maintenance operational plan and strategy.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all maintenance activities.
• Contribute to budget forecast and analysis in the own perimeter.
• Contribute to specific projects including new product implementation and new machine installations in the maintenance area.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and effectively manage resources to optimize performance.
• Monitor team performance and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide training and support to team members, fostering skill development and a collaborative work environment.
