Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks a Lead Product Manager for Lot Operations Modernization to own problem areas, drive discovery, and shape a 6-9 month roadmap across the auction network. You will build business cases, define KPIs, and partner with engineering, UX, and data analytics to prototype and validate solutions.

You will mentor other Product Managers, contribute to PI planning, and promote AI-driven discovery throughout the team, aligning with leadership priorities and release train goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of experience; or a master's degree and 4 years of experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 18 years of experience with no degree.
• Proven track record leading discovery independently and turning it into a fundable business case.
• Skilled at managing multiple priorities and translating ambiguous problems into clear requirements.
• Experience coaching or mentoring other product managers.
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodology and PI planning.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own one or more interconnected problem areas in Lot Operations Modernization.
• Lead discovery efforts end-to-end with field users and research.
• Translate validated problems into specifications and resolve ambiguity.
• Define and monitor a 6-9 month roadmap.
• Build business cases and investment documents for funding and prioritization.
• Define KPIs using Pendo, operational data, and field research.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, data/analytics to prototype and validate solutions.
• Mentor other Product Managers and possibly manage 1-2 reports.
• Represent product area in PI planning and progress updates to leadership.
• Champion AI-accelerated discovery and tooling adoption.
