Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a Lead Product Manager for the Lot Operations Modernization team. You will own multiple problem areas, lead end-to-end discovery, and shape a 6–9 month roadmap to modernize vehicle movement within the auction network.

You will collaborate with engineering, UX, and data leads to prototype and validate solutions, mentor other PMs, and drive AI-enabled discovery and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of PM experience, or higher degrees with reduced experience.
• Proven ability to lead discovery and translate it into fundable business cases.
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile and PI planning.
• Experience coaching or mentoring other product managers.

Responsibilities

• Own one or more interconnected problem areas in Lot Operations Modernization.
• Lead discovery end-to-end with field users to validate problems.
• Translate problems into clear specifications and resolve ambiguity.
• Help define a 6–9 month roadmap.
• Build business cases and investment documents for funding and prioritization.
• Define and monitor KPIs using Pendo and field data to flag deviations.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, and data leads to prototype and validate solutions.
• Mentor other Product Managers and potentially manage 1–2 direct reports.
• Represent the product area in PI planning and senior stakeholder communications.
• Champion AI-accelerated discovery and tooling adoption.
• Coordinate with other PMs to keep strategy aligned and avoid duplication.
• Share learnings to foster a transparent, iterative discovery culture.
