Job summary

Cox Automotive's Manheim is seeking a Lead Product Manager for the Lot Operations Modernization team. You will own problem areas, lead discovery, shape strategy, and build products that reduce cost and move vehicles efficiently across the auction network.

You will mentor other PMs, define a 6-9 month roadmap, create business cases, and track KPIs using Pendo and data. Collaborate with engineering, UX, and analytics, and advocate AI-enabled discovery across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6 years of experience; or a master’s degree and 4 years; a Ph.D. and 1 year; or 18 years of experience in a related field with no degree.
• Proven track record leading discovery independently and turning it into a fundable business case.
• Experience coaching or mentoring other product managers.
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodology and PI planning.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own interconnected Lot Operations Modernization problem areas.
• Lead discovery end-to-end with field users to validate problems.
• Translate validated problems into clear specifications.
• Define a 6–9 month roadmap.
• Build business cases and funding documents for release decisions.
• Define and monitor KPIs using Pendo and operational data.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, and data teams to prototype and validate solutions.
• Mentor other Product Managers; may have 1–2 direct reports.
• Represent product area in PI planning and leadership updates.
• Champion AI-accelerated discovery and development across the team.
• Share learnings to foster a culture of transparency and iteration.
