Job summary

Cox Automotive, through its Manheim auction network, seeks a Lead Product Manager for Lot Operations Modernization. You will own outcomes, set direction when information is incomplete, and translate complexity into actionable strategy for field teams.

You will drive discovery with stakeholders, define a roadmap for 6–9 months, and build investment materials to secure funding. Collaboration with engineering and analytics is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 6 years of experience, or a master's with 4 years.
• PhD and 1 year of experience, or 18 years of experience in a related field with no degree.
• Proven track record leading discovery and turning it into a fundable business case.
• Experience with SAFe Agile methodology and PI planning.

Responsibilities

• Own one or more interconnected problem areas in Lot Operations Modernization.
• Lead discovery end-to-end with field users to validate problems worth solving.
• Translate validated problems into specifications and remove ambiguity.
• Help define a 6–9 month roadmap.
• Build business cases and investment documents for funding at release-train level.
• Define and monitor KPIs using data and field research to flag trends.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, and analytics to prototype and validate solutions.
• Mentor other Product Managers and potentially manage 1–2 direct reports.
• Represent product area in PI planning and leadership reviews; communicate progress and tradeoffs to executives.
• Champion AI-accelerated discovery and adoption across the team.
