Profound in New York City is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own one core product area end-to-end, from discovery through delivery, and to drive strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building excellent software products.
• Domain expertise in AI agent systems, LLMs, or prompt engineering; marketing analytics, data products, or BI tools; or ads, ecommerce, retail, agency workflows, or self-serve B2B SaaS.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity, create clarity, and push teams to ship product and drive impact.
• Strong product fundamentals with a spike in data, AI/ML systems, development, design, or enterprise go-to-market.
• Willing to roll up your sleeves to help the team execute, whether that means creating prototypes, writing SQL, evaluating model outputs, building dashboards, or responding to support tickets.
• You play on offense, creating and running toward opportunities and injecting energy into teams.
• Experience as a founder, working at an early-stage startup, or launching zero-to-one products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Craft the strategy and drive execution for one of Profound's core product areas: Answer Engine Insights, Agent Analytics, and Prompt Volumes; the agent platform including background agents, the agent builder, and projects; or vertical solutions across Shopping, Ads, self-serve, and agency workflows.
• Define how customers measure, understand, and improve their brand's performance across AI-powered answer engines: from prompt monitoring and competitive benchmarking to agent-driven automation and vertical-specific workflows.
• Expedite execution across engineering, design, data, and marketing by creating clarity, making decisions, and managing scope.
• Optimize the team for velocity and quality shots on goal.
• Be in front of customers every day to do discovery, get feedback, and sell.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Engagement teams so that we tell compelling stories to prospects and customers.
