Job summary

Profound is hiring a Product Manager for the Core Product team in NYC. You will own one key area end-to-end: driving strategy, shaping the product, and delivering outcomes that matter to customers and the business.

The role requires 5+ years in software product roles, domain expertise in AI/LLM, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams with clarity and urgency. This is an on-site position in Union Square, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building software products.
• Domain expertise in AI agent systems, LLMs, or marketing analytics.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity, create clarity, and push teams to ship.

Responsibilities

• Craft the strategy and drive execution for one of Profound's core product areas: Answer Engine Insights, Agent Analytics, and Prompt Volumes; the agent platform including background agents, the agent builder, and projects; or vertical solutions across Shopping, Ads, self-serve, and agency workflows.
• Define how customers measure, understand, and improve their brand's performance across AI-powered answer engines: from prompt monitoring and benchmarking to automation and workflows.
• Expedite execution across engineering, design, data, and marketing by creating clarity, making decisions, and managing scope.
• Optimize the team for velocity and quality shots on goal.
• Be in front of customers daily to do discovery, get feedback, and sell.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Engagement teams to tell compelling stories to prospects and customers.
