Profound, the fastest-growing AI marketing platform trusted by 15% of the Fortune 500, is hiring a Member of Technical Staff, Product, Core Product in New York, NY. This on-site role offers ownership of strategy and execution at the frontier of AI and marketing.

You’ll drive strategy, work with engineering, design, data, and marketing, and engage with customers daily to shape the product. Compensation includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Applications close December 9, 2026.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building excellent software products, ideally in a startup or fast-moving company.
• Domain expertise in one or more of: AI agent systems, LLMs, or prompt engineering; marketing analytics, data products, or BI tools; or ads, ecommerce, retail, agency workflows, or self-serve B2B SaaS.
• Strong product fundamentals with a spike in data, AI/ML systems, development, design, or enterprise go-to-market.
• Hands-on mentality: willing to roll up your sleeves to create prototypes, write SQL, evaluate model outputs, build dashboards, create content, or respond to support tickets.
• Offensive mindset: you create and run toward opportunities, inject energy into teams, and lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity to ship product and drive impact.
• Founder experience - as a founder, at an early-stage startup, or launching zero-to-one products - is a plus.

This full-time, on-site role at the Union Square office is built for product managers who want to own strategy and execution end to end at the frontier of AI and marketing.

What You'll Own at Profound

Profound is built on over two billion real user prompts and growing, giving marketing teams unprecedented visibility into what people ask AI and what models say back. Product managers here are true product owners, responsible for discovery, execution, and delivery from start to finish.

As a Product Manager on the Core Product team, you'll take end-to-end ownership of one of several core product areas:

• Analytics tools - Answer Engine Insights, Agent Analytics, and Prompt Volumes that help marketing teams measure, understand, and improve brand performance across AI-powered answer engines.
• The agent platform - including background agents, the agent builder, and projects, where marketers build and orchestrate agents to execute strategies and automate operations.
• Vertical solutions - across Shopping, Ads, self-serve, and agency workflows, built for new use cases and strategic customer segments.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected base salary range for this role is $200,000 to $300,000. Profound's total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits. Final figures depend on your skills, experience, and qualifications, with details shared during the interview process.
