Job summary

Profound, the AI marketing platform, seeks a Member of Technical Staff, Product, Core Product in New York, NY to own an end-to-end product area and drive growth.

As a product manager you will lead discovery, execution, and delivery end-to-end, collaborating with engineering, design, data, and marketing to ship impactful AI-powered features for vertical solutions and analytics. On-site in Union Square, NYC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building excellent software products, ideally at a startup or fast-moving company.
• Domain expertise in AI agent systems, LLMs, or prompt engineering; marketing analytics, data products, BI tools, or ads, ecommerce, retail, agency workflows, or self-serve B2B SaaS.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity, create clarity, and push teams to ship product and drive impact.
• Strong product fundamentals with a spike in data, AI/ML systems, development, design, or enterprise go-to-market.
• Willing to roll up your sleeves — prototyping, SQL, dashboards, content creation, or responding to support tickets.
• An offensive mindset: you create and run toward opportunities, injecting energy into teams.
• Experience as a founder, working at an early-stage startup, or launching zero-to-one products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Craft the strategy and drive execution for one of Profound's core product areas end to end.
• Define how customers measure, understand, and improve brand performance across AI-powered answer engines — from prompt monitoring and competitive benchmarking to agent-driven automation and vertical-specific workflows.
• Expedite execution across engineering, design, data, and marketing by creating clarity, making decisions, and managing scope.
• Optimize the team for velocity and quality shots on goal.
• Be in front of customers every day for discovery, feedback, and selling.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Engagement teams to tell compelling stories to prospects and customers.
