Job summary

Mark43 seeks a Lead Product Designer to own a critical area of the product portfolio, guiding discovery to delivery with Product and Engineering. You will translate the needs of first responders into thoughtful, scalable software across dispatch, records, analytics, and mobile apps.

You’ll influence design practice, raise craft standards, and explore AI-enabled improvements while maintaining a strong customer-centric focus in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional product design experience on shipped software.
• Experience leading design for substantial product areas and driving from discovery to shipped outcomes.
• Strong judgment across customer needs, strategy, interaction design, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Set design direction for a critical product area and create a clear long-term vision.
• Lead a cross-functional initiative from discovery through delivery with product and engineering partners.
• Balance user needs with technical constraints and business priorities while advocating for the customer.
• Design across multiple environments and devices, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Contribute to design systems, craft, and patterns; mentor other designers.
