Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 4+ years of industry experience in pharmaceutical process development, pilot plant operations, or chemical manufacturing.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate transfer of chemical processes from development labs to pilot plant operations for early-phase cGMP manufacturing.
• Operate and troubleshoot kilo-scale equipment including reactors, filtration, and drying systems.
• Apply heat/mass transfer, kinetics, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics to scale-up calculations.
• Develop filtration models and perform washing studies; predict cake filtration performance.
• Model PSD during crystallization and guide process decisions.
• Document SOPs, batch records, and deviation reports; maintain organized lab notebooks.
• Support process deviations, quality events, safety, and cross-functional investigations.
