Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) team leads development, testing, and implementation of power systems control solutions using PLCs, HMIs, and protection relays. This hybrid role in Utah includes collaboration with PSC engineers to deliver integrated automation solutions for power distribution.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering with extensive power distribution controls experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to undergo

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with minimum 7 years of power distribution controls experience OR Master’s degree with at least 5 years of power distribution controls experience OR 10+ years of power distribution controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement PLC/HMI software for power transfer applications.
• Follow customer specs and internal specs for project implementation.
• Select components and create bill of materials; provide sketches and directions for electricians to develop drawings.
• Prepare SOOs, test procedures, and customer submittals; assist with factory testing and field start-ups.
• Troubleshoot systems to restore proper operation.
