Hargrove Engineers is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer in the Beaumont, TX area to provide technical leadership over a team of engineers and designers. The role focuses on delivering mechanical deliverables on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards, with responsibilities including acting as Engineer Of Record (EOR) for complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering registration required.
• 15+ years of relevant industrial mechanical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to a team of engineers and designers.
• Lead, review, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of mechanical deliverables.
• Act as Engineer Of Record (EOR) for complex assignments.
• Develop conceptual layouts, preliminary designs, and cost estimates.
• Produce design calculations and sketches for materials of construction.
• Coordinate with discipline leads and drafting for completion of drawings.
• Review vendor drawings for mechanical input and conformance.
• Estimate construction quantities and develop project schedules and man-hour budgets.
