Job summary

Hargrove Life Sciences, LLC is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to supervise a team of engineers and designers, directing the total delivery of mechanical deliverables on time and within budget. You will act as a technical specialist for complex tasks and provide on-site startup support, ensuring quality and cost controls across projects.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of relevant experience, a degree in mechanical engineering, and PE registration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• 15+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of design standards and piping materials.
• Ability to lead a team to deliver on commitments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction over a team of engineers and designers.
• Deliver mechanical deliverables on time and within budget.
• Perform stress analysis, piping design, and material specifications.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and vendors to ensure project success.
• Assist drafting and check calculations; develop constructability feedback.
