Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Mechanical/Piping Designer with 15+ years of progressive experience to lead a design team. The role emphasizes delivering complete mechanical and piping deliverables on time, within budget, and meeting quality expectations.

The ideal candidate will supervise, mentor staff, and coordinate with discipline leads. Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and Microstation, plus strong communication and presentation skills, is required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in mechanical/piping drafting and design.
• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD is required.
• SPED certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a design team to deliver mechanical/piping work on time and within budget.
• Provide technical guidance to junior designers.
• Perform as lead designer for complex assignments.
• Assist during startup on-site.
• Coordinate with other staff and the discipline lead.
• Develop installation specifications and cost estimates.
