Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to provide technical direction to a team of engineers and designers.

You will lead the delivery of mechanical deliverables on time, within budget, and meeting quality expectations as the Engineer Of Record for complex projects. The role requires 15+ years of industrial mechanical experience, PE registration, and strong knowledge of piping materials, design standards, and stress analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration is required.
• 15+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction over a team of engineers and designers as lead engineer.
• Deliver mechanical deliverables on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Perform advanced engineering work as Engineer Of Record (EOR) for complex tasks.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
• Produce detail designs, calculations, and sketches for materials of construction.
• Coordinate with drafting to ensure accurate drawings and timely submissions.
• Lead and coordinate with discipline leads to ensure smooth information flow.
