Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks a Lead Designer to supervise a team of designers for mechanical and piping deliverables. You will ensure on-time delivery, adherence to budget, and compliance with quality standards.

The role requires extensive experience and will include mentoring staff and coordinating with other disciplines. The ideal candidate has 12+ years in mechanical/piping design, strong knowledge of ASME/API standards, and proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical/piping drafting and design.
• Experience leading a design staff to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Familiarity with piping materials, supports, and valve sizing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of designers as the technical lead for mechanical and piping deliverables.
• Deliver on-time, within budget, and to quality expectations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced staff.
