Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in Beaumont, TX seeks a Mechanical Engineer, PE with 3+ years of industrial experience to perform complete designs and provide field support, startup assistance, and coordination with drafting and other disciplines.

Responsibilities include stress analysis, piping systems sizing, material specifications, vendor drawing reviews, and developing cost-effective layouts. PE registration required; Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE).
• 3+ years of relevant industrial mechanical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete mechanical design tasks for small and large projects.
• Provide on-site startup support and field data collection.
• Produce and check calculations, sketches, and material take-offs.
• Coordinate with drafting and other discipline leads for package readiness.
• Review vendor drawings for mechanical input and conformance to specs.
• Develop engineering designs emphasizing constructability and cost efficiency.
