Ideal candidates have a Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a PE registration, and 15+ years of industrial piping experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 15+ years of relevant industrial piping experience.
• Professional Engineering registration (PE) required.
• Knowledge of piping standards, codes, and design practices.
• Ability to estimate construction quantities and prepare cost estimates.
• Strong communication and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction over a team of engineers and designers as lead engineer.
• Deliver mechanical deliverables on time, within budget, and to quality expectations.
• Perform advanced engineering work including EOR for complex assignments.
• Develop conceptual layouts, cost studies, and preliminary designs.
• Review vendor drawings and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Perform fieldwork to gather data and support construction.
• Lead a team to deliver on commitments and manage scope, schedule, and budget.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure adherence to drafting standards.
