Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, PE to handle complete designs of mechanical engineering assignments under supervision in our Beaumont office.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, are a licensed PE, and have 3+ years of industrial experience. Responsibilities include piping design, stress analysis, and field support as part of multi-discipline teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering registration (PE).
• 3+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Knowledge of piping materials, codes, and design practices.
• Experience with stress analysis and process piping design.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress analysis and prepare material procurement specs.
• Produce preliminary and detail designs for piping and process systems.
• Assist drafting group with layouts and drawings for construction.
• Review vendor drawings for mechanical input and conformance.
• Provide field support and startup assistance as needed.
• Coordinate with design leaders to ensure on-time project delivery.
