Job summary

WSP USA Inc is seeking a Lead Pipeline Engineer to work from multiple U.S. offices, including Tampa, FL and Houston, TX. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver pipeline solutions for mining, oil & gas, and water sectors.

Responsibilities include design across lifecycle, field investigations, right-of-way coordination, and client-facing communications. Travel up to 25% is expected as project demands dictate.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree in a relevant field.
• 7–10 years pipeline design experience in consulting or operating companies.
• EI/TI registration (EIT minimum; PE preferred).
• Knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192/195, ASME B31.4/31.8, AWWA M11.

Responsibilities

• Design and support pipeline systems across lifecycle: planning, FEED, routing, permitting, detail design, procurement, construction, demolition.
• Provide routing analyses, stress analysis, and mechanical design for liquids, gas, or slurry pipelines.
• Coordinate field investigations and right-of-way support, including surveys and environmental works.
• Prepare cost estimates, bid summaries, and authorization requests.
• Interface with clients and prepare progress reports and proposals.
• Ensure project delivery per company procedures and QM plans.
