Job summary

WSP USA Inc is seeking a Lead Pipeline Engineer to join our team and work from our Tampa, FL office with options for other U.S. locations.

The role involves delivering pipeline solutions across the mining, oil & gas, and water sectors, collaborating with a global engineering team to ensure safety and quality in every project. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in pipeline design, holds an ABET-accredited engineering degree, and is actively pursuing or holds an EIT/PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• 7–10 years pipeline design experience in consulting or operating company environments.
• EIT certification minimum; PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform work in field and office, operating company vehicles as needed.
• Design pipelines across lifecycle from planning to deactivation with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide routing studies, stress analysis, and mechanical detailed design for liquid, gas and slurry pipelines.
• Coordinate field investigations and surveys to support pipeline design efforts.
• Prepare project funding documents and client communications; manage delivery per procedures.
