Job summary

Intuit's SelectTime division seeks a Lead Tax Processor and Subject Matter Expert to steer critical team initiatives and serve as the primary resource for the payroll tax team.

This hourly, remote role supports 20–40 hours per week, with overtime eligibility as an exempt policy. You will own SOPs, drive knowledge-base content, and coach peers to elevate team capability and compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience with a focus on complex tax defect resolution and multi-state filings.
• Experience as a lead, senior specialist, or SME with coaching or training junior staff.
• Expert knowledge of tax payments and filing regulations across US jurisdictions, including local/state programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary real-time technical expert for TP1/TP2/TP3 staff and teach resolution paths.
• Own authoring, review, and approval of SOPs and KB articles across core operations.
• Conduct quarterly coaching sessions to close skill gaps using SBIC feedback model.
