Job summary

Washington University in Creve Coeur, MO is seeking a lead Patient Billing/Services Representative who will plan, organize, and direct the front desk/scheduling team, acting as a liaison among staff, patients and providers.

You will supervise scheduling templates, train new staff, ensure HIPAA compliance, monitor performance, and generate reports. A high school diploma and BLS certification within one month are required; experience in medical office billing preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date.
• Billing systems and third-party claims experience in a medical office setting (4 years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Patient Billing/Services Representatives and coordinate front desk/scheduling.
• Supervise scheduling, registration review, pre-arrival processes and HIPAA documentation.
• Coordinate staff training and onboarding with management.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare custom reports as directed by management.
• Assist with staff vacations and coverage.
