Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners is seeking a Lead Patient Access Representative to guide the front-desk team in a high-volume urology practice. You will coach PARs, schedule visits and procedures, verify insurance, and ensure accurate patient billing with sensitivity to patient privacy.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and expertise in EMR/EHR systems, with emphasis on privacy and efficient workflow to support complex scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Three to five years of medical front-office experience preferred.
• Prior experience in urology, surgical specialty, or procedural practice strongly preferred.
• Previous lead or mentoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all PAR duties including check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and collection of patient payments.
• Provide compassionate, discreet service when supporting patients with sensitive urologic conditions.
• Train and onboard new PARs; provide real-time coaching on front desk workflows and patient interactions.
• Build and maintain PAR schedules and coordinate PTO requests with the Practice Manager.
• Oversee daily front desk operations and ensure efficient patient flow for office visits and procedures.
• Support prior authorization workflows for imaging, procedures, and specialty medications used in urology.
