Job summary
POWERX is seeking a P&C Lead Test Engineer to drive testing, commissioning, validation, and operational integration of protection and control systems across substations. You will mentor engineers, coordinate with clients and operations, and ensure safety, reliability, and adherence to utility standards in energized environments.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of high-voltage protection & control testing and commissioning.
- Experience with relay platforms from SEL, GE, ABB, Siemens, Westinghouse or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Willingness to travel to substations nationwide and work in energized environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead advanced testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and validation across substations.
- Perform relay protection testing using industry platforms.
- Validate protection and control systems including line, transformer, bus, and feeder protection.
- Coordinate energization plans and client turnover documentation.
- Mentor Test Engineers and ensure adherence to safety standards.
