Motion in Columbus, OH is seeking an Outbound Operations Supervisor to lead the outbound team and ensure accurate picking, sorting, packing and loading of shipments. The role focuses on safe, high-quality, timely execution and emphasizes engagement, problem solving, and continuous improvement.

The supervisor will design procedures for outbound processes, oversee trailer organization, and promote adherence to safety and security rules while driving cost savings and operational efficiency.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years’ experience in a distribution center or similar environment.
• Must be forklift and pallet jack certified.
• Must comply with safety requirements and wear PPE as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise outbound operations by directing how to perform work and monitoring progress.
• Design and maintain organization of truck yard operations and ensure safety and housekeeping.
• Lead adherence to safety rules and drive cost-saving process improvements.
• Schedule team hours to cover peak periods and ensure efficiency.
• Investigate shipping errors and coordinate with management to resolve issues.
• Mentor warehouse associates and foster engagement, problem-solving, and teamwork.
• Lead efficient processing of outbound orders, cross/docks, and special orders; ensure proper loading.
• Ensure compliance with company and supplier guidelines for returns.
