You will oversee truck yard organization, loading procedures, and cross-dock operations while enforcing safety, quality, and cost controls, fostering engagement and problem-solving among staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years’ experience in a distribution center or similar environment.
• Ability to comply with safety requirements and DC safety rules.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Supervise outbound operations and instruct employees on work processes.
• Design and maintain organization of truck yard, trailers, and loading procedures.
• Drive adherence to safety rules and cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and empower team to solve problems and improve operations.
• Coordinate schedules to ensure peak period coverage and efficiency.
• Reconcile truck loads nightly and ensure proper loading of product.
