Job summary

Warby Parker seeks an experienced Optical Manager to coach and lead its in-store Opticians and consult customers on eyewear choices. You will mentor staff, uphold service standards, and ensure precise measurements and fittings while promoting a positive, inclusive store culture.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, exceptional customer experiences, and collaboration with the Store Leader to plan staffing and training. A NY dispensing license is required or ABO certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in NY or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• Ability to lead a team of Opticians and coach staff.
• Strong interpersonal skills with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist customers to meet eyewear needs and take/record measurements accurately.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Lead and develop a team of Opticians; manage performance and floor coverage.
• Support store operations, inventory, and HR processes as needed.
