Warby Parker is seeking a Licensed Optical Manager to lead our in-house optical team. You will coach and develop Opticians, consult customers on eyewear, and ensure flawless fitting and standards. The role blends leadership with hands-on customer care to create exceptional experiences in-store.

You will manage performance, uphold service excellence, and collaborate with store leadership on staffing and programs to boost loyalty and engagement. Strong licensure and people skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states requiring a license or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• 2+ years in a management role leading optical teams.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and customer-focused coaching.
• Professional, calm, and clear communicator with customers and teammates.
• Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Opticians on the floor with feedback and development conversations.
• Uphold service standards and implement retail programs to grow loyalty.
• Oversee staffing, including Optician Apprentice Program participants.
• Maintain HR policies and a safe, engaging store culture.
• Support store systems, inventory databases, and daily operations.
