Job summary

Warby Parker seeks an Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team, coaching Opticians and consulting customers on eyewear choices. You will drive exceptional service and ensure precise measurements, fittings, and adherence to optical standards.

You’ll report to the Store Leader, collaborate on staffing, and promote a productive, inclusive store culture while managing programs for employee development and engagement.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in applicable states or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills demonstrated in retail eyewear.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain prescription terminology clearly.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Opticians, coach and develop the team on floor.
• Guide customer interactions, ensure accurate measurements and fitting standards.
• Maintain optical standards and collaborate with Store Leader on staffing and programs.
• Oversee inventory, store operations, and adherence to HR policies.
