Job summary

LensCrafters in Thousand Oaks is seeking a Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and help drive store success by managing key optical and lab processes.

You will guide a team, assist customers with selections and recommendations, and ensure eyewear meets optical standards while maintaining a safe work environment and upholding high standards of care for patients and customers. HS diploma required; strong optical/retail experience and leadership preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required.
• Strong optical and retail experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic math and sales ability.
• Experience with edging and mounting.
• Leadership/training experience.
• Familiarity with cash registers and computers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist in store success.
• Assist customers with selections and make recommendations.
• Serve as alternate store key holder.
• In lab role: fit glasses and place prescription.
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and safety.
• Maintain safe working environment and lab tools.
