Job summary

Dave & Buster's Inc. in Austin, TX seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead selected front-of-house and back-of-house operations under the guidance of the General Manager, driving performance and guest satisfaction.

This role requires 5+ years in restaurant/hospitality, strong budgeting and team leadership, and the ability to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment. You will analyze financials, train staff, and continually raise standards of service, food, and entertainment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Restaurant/Hospitality experience required.
• Proven ability to manage COGS and labor costs.
• Strong business acumen and decision making.
• Ability to lead a team and deliver guest satisfaction.
• Availability to work weekends, nights and holidays.
• Comfort with fast-paced, noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Promotes positive employee relations, including effective delegation of managerial duties and fostering high staff morale
• Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to grow revenue and control costs in order to meet or exceed annual budgets
• Assures the execution of staff training programs.
• Assures staffing levels and management coverage are appropriate to meet the needs of the business and maximize the customer experience.
• Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks, and games
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all guests and staff
• Continuously improves operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to operating standards and procedures
