Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems, road test vehicles, and document results on the TRAIT app.

This role leads on-site technical efforts and coordinates with customers and management. Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, 3–7 years in related field, ASE certifications preferred (T8, 608/609), and a valid DOT

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher with 3–7 years in related field.
• Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain; pass DOT pre-employment screens.
• Experience with refrigerated equipment preferred.
• Must supply own hand tools and diesel tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on trucks in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Road test vehicles and document findings on RO with mobile device.
• Communicate estimates and approvals to management and customers.
