Job summary

R-2 Contractors is seeking an experienced Utility-Scale Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations on power, renewable energy, transmission, and substation projects across the United States. You will safely plan, coordinate, and oversee all concrete construction activities while mentoring field leaders and maintaining schedule and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of structural concrete construction experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading structural concrete as Superintendent or Senior Superintendent.
• Expertise in flatwork, footings, pedestals, foundations, reinforcing steel, formwork.
• Ability to read project drawings, specifications, and foundation layouts.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and work extended hours as needed.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations for utility-scale concrete foundation projects.
• Plan manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and production schedules.
• Supervise Foremen, craft personnel, subcontractors, and field teams for safety and productivity.
• Oversee reinforcing steel installation, formwork, anchor bolts, embedded items, placement, finishing, curing, and QC.
• Ensure foundations are built safely, accurately, and to project specs and standards.
• Read and interpret project drawings, specs, and construction documents; coordinate with PMs and customers.
