Job summary

R-2 Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Utility-Scale Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations on power, renewable energy, transmission, and substation projects across the United States.

You will plan manpower, equipment, materials, and schedules while maintaining safety, quality, and on-time delivery. This role requires hands-on leadership of Foremen and field teams, with deep knowledge of concrete placement, formwork, anchor bolts, and embeds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of structural concrete construction experience, including utility-scale power, renewable energy, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading structural concrete construction as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of concrete production planning, pump operations, placement sequencing, scheduling, and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations for utility-scale structural concrete foundation construction projects.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and production schedules.
• Supervise Foremen and field teams to ensure safe and productive project execution.
• Oversee reinforcing steel installation, formwork, anchor bolt assemblies, embedded items, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and quality control activities.
• Maintain complete project documentation and quality records.
