Job summary

R-2 Contractors is seeking an experienced Utility-Scale Concrete Foreman to lead field crews on concrete foundation construction across the United States. This leadership role requires safely planning, coordinating, and executing daily operations while delivering high-quality workmanship and developing crew members.

Reporting to the Superintendent and Project Management, you will oversee production planning, layout coordination, reinforcing steel, formwork, anchor bolts, concrete placement,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in utility-scale or heavy civil concrete construction.
• Minimum 2 years as a Concrete Foreman leading field crews.
• Strong knowledge of flatwork, footings, pedestals, foundations, reinforcing steel, formwork.
• Ability to read project drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and work extended hours.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily concrete construction activities.
• Plan daily work assignments and coordinate crews, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate reinforcing steel installation, formwork, and concrete placement.
• Ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Train, mentor, and develop crew members.
• Maintain daily reports and project documentation.
